Chess 4 Charity is a 501c3 non-profit, created by kids, to raise money for charities through chess tournaments, etc.
Chess 4 Charity
was created by kids to raise money for great causes through semi-annual chess tournaments.  So far, we've raised over $25,000 (and counting) for great charities like the ones below.  Even between tournaments, you can still make a tax deductible donation at any time!  Pick your favorite charity from the list below and DONATE NOW:

Children's Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals is a network of hospitals for kids that serves over 17 million kids per year.  One child enters a CMN hospital every minute!  Whether it's because of cancer, a serious injury, a genetic disease, etc., donate now to help them.

Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of Greater DC houses the families of hospitalized kids.  Often a family needs to travel to a great hospital for their kids to get care.  If the kids are in the hospital for a long time, the housing costs alone for the family can be prohibitive.  RMHC provides housing for these families near the world class hospitals in the DC area.

The American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund is there when you need them.  In the US and internationally, if there's a natural disaster, like a flood, hurricane, tornado, earthquake, etc., and people are mobilizing to help, the Red Cross is there, and you can help to by donating here.

Simon's Fund was started by a couple when they sadly lost their infant son, Simon, to a tragic heart defect.  Since then, they've been on a mission to educate people about latent heart defects, and encourage simple, inexpensive, noninvasive heart health screenings for infants and for youth athletes.  Have you ever heard of a young athlete suddenly dying from hear disease on the court/field/arena?  This can be prevented.  Simon's Fund wants legislators to mandate these tests, and in the meantime, they conduct their own screenings and help spread the word about the importance of these tests.  They have saved hundreds of lives so far and counting.

Check out their story on the “About Us” page

Chess 4 Charity is an annual chess tournament,
created and launched by 2 grade school kids, to raise money for charity.
It’s social, it’s fun and it’s for all ages and skill levels.

Thanks to your help, Chess 4 Charity has raised
about $25,000 (and counting) for great causes!!

The charities have included Hurricane Sandy Relief through the Red Cross,
Ronald McDonald House, which supports hospitalized kids & their families,
and the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.

Gabby and Garrett want to encourage other kids to walk in their footsteps,
hoping other kids get the idea that they can do charity events too.
As they say, “even if we're just kids, we can still make a difference!”

The Charity:
This year, 100% of all profits will go to
Children's Miracle Network Hospitals Torch Relay
